Stats!
March 2001 - we have edged up 2 places in RC5-64 and 3 places in OGR-25 since December.
Right now we are participating in project(s) from distributed.net and the SETI@home search. The RC5-64 project which is a long-term (and time marking project) and the search for the Optimal 25-mark Golomb Ruler (OGR). In OGR we were ranked 106th on day 3, not bad when no announcements have been made yet - well done!
We're probably also going to front teams for chess, prime numbers and maybe even for-profit distributed computing. Keep at it!
The rankings in brackets are as of March 30, 2001

DES-II-2 July 1998
For the DES-II-2 project we joined forces with other Australian teams to form Team DES Australia. The DES-II-2 project ended in 3 days, and was cracked by the EFF (not distributed.net.) Team DES Australia finished in ?th place overall.
DES-II Jan-Feb 1998
We particpated in the DES-II project mounted by the distributed.net organisation. The DES-II project ended Wed, 25 Feb 1998. We didn't find the key, but the distributed.net organisation (of which we were a part) did. We finished in 87th place overall (preliminary), and the #1 Australian team.
New! There is a page that predicts the completion date of DES-II. Not an official page, but interesting nonetheless - the data is presented in graph form.
RC5-56
We particpated in the RC5-56 challenge mounted by the Bovine team (which became distributed.net.) That challenge tracked input by email addresses, so we were known as
dudes@epage.com.au. The RC5-56 challenge ended October 22, 1997. We didn't find the key, but the Bovine organisation (of which we were a part) did. We finished in 45th place overall, and the #1 Australian team. Not a bad effort all in all. Thanks to Jon for this bit!Our page for the RC5-56 is still online, although you may find the links inaccurate.
